La chanson évoque des sentiments de mélancolie et de solitude, où le protagoniste se sent perdu lorsque les jours sombres semblent contrarier son existence. Il parle d’une sorte de désespoir qui n’a besoin de personne d’autre pour s'intensifier, soulignant que les relations peuvent parfois être superficielles.
