Cette chanson parle d'une douleur persistante face à une rupture amoureuse. L'interprète évoque les souffrances qu'elle endure en voyant son ancien partenaire avec une autre personne. Ses sentiments de nostalgie et d'amour ne cessent de la hanter, au point qu'elle se rend compte qu'elle ne pourra jamais vraiment tourner la page. Même si elle essaie de masquer sa peine, il est clair qu'elle est encore attachée à cette relation passée, et la comparaison avec la nouvelle compagne ne fait qu'accroître sa souffrance. Dans ce contexte, on peut ressentir le désespoir de quelqu'un qui ne peut ni oublier ni avancer, malgré les encouragements de se consoler d'une manière ou d'une autre.
