Last Rose Of Summer

From the album ’The Black Rider’  I noticed there was’nt a version up here so thought I’d  put up how I play it. I know it sounds a bit out and  like but worth messing around with enjoy.       Tabbed by flatwound     A|------0--2--|     E|--3---------| D7 With a tear in my  eye          THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER        ** OPTIONAL CAPO 1st FRET **   I love the way the tattered clouds   Blow wind across the sky      The summer goes and leaves me   With a tear in my eye   I’m taking off my winter clothes   My garden knows what wrong     The petals of my favourite rose   In shadows dark and long   Though every year it’s very clear   I should be carrying on       But I can be found in the garden   Singing this song   When the last rose of summer is gone     The last rose of summer is gone    gone
