La chanson raconte l'histoire d'une personne dont l'amoureuse s'est rendue en vacances, avec l'intention de se rendre à Los Angeles, mais qui ne parvient jamais à y arriver. Au fil des paroles, il est sous-entendu qu'elle a été enlevée par le KKK, ce qui plonge le narrateur dans l'inquiétude et la désespoir. Il exprime sa confusion et son désir de retrouver sa bien-aimée, cherchant désespérément des réponses auprès des autorités.
