Flashes

The Paper Kites

Transposer:

Halla again! Here I am back with an acoustic ballad of the Indie Alternative band The Paper Kites. In the live version it can be seen that Sam (the lead vocalist and guitarist) was using a capo on the @nd fret. This version that I arranged however uses no capo and is adjusted to fit their pitch. Might come out with one that is if not feel free to transpose this and slap on a capo to see if you can live up to the original! For now this is just a simplified arrangement of ’Flashes’. Enjoy! {You can use A# interchangably with Bb whichever is easier and more comfortable to play or is much more compatible with the verse (or just use the default tab provided.)} I tried my best to match and integrate the tune of the electric guitar with the main acoustic instrumental to create a unified sound so I hope you enjoy and we can learn together! I recommend using all barre/power chords for this song as it helps in adlibs or imitating the original as closely as possible :-) ══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ [Intro] [Verse 1] Wait you’re gonna feel something You’re gonna feel something one day Wait thats how fire burns out Thats how fire burns out don’t you know [Pre-Chorus] When we break it’s all it takes to know How far we have to go and we need [Chorus] Flashes in the night? Oh light? Oh-oh Oh light now? Oh light? [Verse 2] Faith keeping it around you now Keep it around you now always Change you’re gonna see something You’re gonna see something someday [Pre-Chorus 2] When we look see how the world turns slow Whisper the fire won’t blow and we need [Chorus 2] Flashes in the night? Oh light oh? Oh light oh? More light More light I’m a light...
