Cette chanson explore la sensation d’une perte de soi, de l’observation d’un déclin personnel qui semble se prolonger depuis des années. Le protagoniste se voit glisser hors de sa réalité, se sentant insignifiant et se perdant dans l’existence de quelqu’un d’autre.
