Les gens l'ignorent et ne prennent même pas la peine de chercher à comprendre qui il est vraiment, étant simplement effrayés par ce qu'ils ne connaissent pas. Son épouse, qui l'accompagne, décède, et son chagrin est lié à la perte d'un ami cher. Malgré sa capacité à évoquer des souvenirs magiques auprès des enfants, il demeure un personnage solitaire, dont la véritable nature reste méconnue et incomprise par ceux qui l'entourent. La chanson évoque ainsi la peur de l'inconnu et la tendance à juger sans effort de compréhension.
