Cette chanson évoque l'histoire de Daniel, un homme qui est attiré par une harpe sacrée, transmise de génération en génération, mais à laquelle il n'est pas véritablement lié. Daniel, dans sa quête de posséder cet instrument, dépense toutes ses économies. Lorsqu'il l'obtient finalement d'un homme qui prétend l'en avoir rapportée de la mer de Galilée, il réalise trop tard le prix qu'il a dû payer. De retour auprès de son frère et de son père, il exprime son désespoir, mais son père le rassure sur son acquisition, même si celle-ci s'accompagne de soucis. Finalement, Daniel monte sur une colline et joue de la harpe, savourant un moment de liberté, tout en constatant qu'il n'y a pas d'ombre, peut-être une métaphore de sa situation complexe.
