Cette chanson aborde la quête de soi et la nécessité de ne pas s'appuyer trop sur autrui. Elle évoque l'idée que la véritable réponse à nos questionnements se trouve en nous-mêmes, et que chacun doit apprendre à faire face à ses propres défis sans trop s'attacher aux autres. L'interprète encourage à voir le bon en soi et à ne pas se laisser influencer par les défauts des autres. Elle semble aussi parler d'une forme de protection, en avertissant que dépendre d'une autre personne peut parfois mener à des déceptions.
