Sky High Honey Matt Nathanson Tabbed by: Robbie Vogel ([email protected]) (All Fs should be barred) There’s a chord in the Chorus that I don’t know the name of but I know it’s right. I’m   calling it and it’s fingered like this: e|-----x--------------------------------------------------------------------| B|-----1--------------------------------------------------------------------| G|-----1--------------------------------------------------------------------| D|-----2--------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----3--------------------------------------------------------------------| E|-----1--------------------------------------------------------------------| The low E string 1 is optional and played by the thumb. It’s basically a chord with a   bar over the and strings. Also in the Chorus there is a (walkdown). If you listen to the song the guitar   mimics the melody in the "sky high honey" part which you can do by playing a chord and   then going: e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|-----1---0----------0-------------------------------------------------------| G|---------------2------------------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| Alternatively if you want it to sound bigger you can go:            Sky high honey gone. OK on to the music. Intro: e|-------0-------------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------1---------------1---------------------------------------------------| G|-------0------------0------------------------------------------------------| D|-----2----------2h3--------------------------------------------------------| A|---3----------3------------------------------------------------------------| E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Verse: I bet you’re laughing at some joke he told you With his arm around your sunburnt shoulders I spent the morning with my face against the windowseat Looking down at all the things that got the best of me No more late night drives to Boston                    (walkdown) No more Cure songs to get lost in No more taxis subway tokens                     (walkdown)     Arms wide open I’m sky high honey gone. verse 2 (same chords) I take the streetcars around San Francisco Get winks from the pretty boys down in the Castro Through the turnstiles roll the Jappy (?) girls the shabby dolls I can’t resist myself I get their names I never call. No more late night drives to Boston                    (walkdown) No more Cure songs to get lost in No more taxis subway tokens                     (walkdown)     Arms wide open I’m sky high honey gone. (walkdown)         I’m sky high honey gone. Bridge: You wait too long you never leave And it feels like dying but still your heart beats walkdown Chorus 3 (quieter) No more late night drives to Boston                    (walkdown) No more Cure songs to get lost in No more taxis subway tokens                     (walkdown)     Arms wide open I’m sky high honey gone. (walkdown)         I’m sky high honey gone. OUTRO: same as Intro
