Cette chanson évoque les hauts et les bas des expériences amoureuses. Elle raconte le chemin difficile que l'on traverse en ressentant des déceptions et des douleurs, mais aussi en apprenant de chaque situation. On y parle de cacher ses insécurités derrière des comportements d'apparente force, tout en cherchant désespérément l'affection de l'autre. Malgré les moments de solitude et de tristesse, l'idée centrale est que ces épreuves contribuent à forger une meilleure version de soi-même et que c'est tout à fait acceptable de ne pas être parfait. Le message résonne particulièrement chez celles qui, comme tant d'autres, se retrouvent à jongler entre rêves perdus et nouvelles priorités, mais qui continuent d'avancer en apprenant à s'accepter.
