Pirouette

Lisa Mitchell

Transposer:

Hey everyone :) This is my first tab and I think it sounds very accurate. I’ve been looking for the chords for this song for a while and couldn’t find anything so I decided to put it together by ear. Lisa Mitchell is an amazing artist unlike any I’ve ever heard before so I thought I should make this tab for you guys ^_^ Note: I have made a few edits since my first submission of the tab to make everything a bit clearer. What before in the chorus I had said was 9th fret Am I’ve been told that it’s a variation of F#m. It is found in the variations when hovered above the F#m chord (6 of 11). The variation F#m is what I have put 1) next to the other (2) is the normal F#m chord. I just thought I should change that so people don’t get confused. Basically the F#m chords in the chorus are all the variated version and pretty much everything other than that like the verse and the instrumentals are the normal F#m chord. And also Bbø is Bb half diminished I don’t know why it doesn’t show in the chords [Breakdown]             /     ø          [Chorus] Come lay down in the water   We’re all sons and daughters Rest your head on the altar oh Come lay down in the water   [Instrumental] E     F#m (2)    (x4) [Verse 1] Pirouette single step   Won’t you spin me around the room Like a marionette And lonely maestro Spin me real slow I just need something to get me through The thick of it [Breakdown] I have everything from time to time           I have everything from time to time [Chorus] Come lay down in the water We’re all sons and daughters Rest your head on the altar oh Come lay down in the water [Instrumental] E     F#m (2)  (x4) [Verse 2] These silent offerings That only cowards sing Oh darling I was never free for the taking [Breakdown] We had everything from time to time           Yeah we had everything we had everything         Oh [Chorus] Come lay down in the water We’re all sons and daughters Rest your head by the altar oh Come lay down in the water High E string    (2 0 2 4 2 0) (repeat until chorus) Yeah we had everything [Chorus] Come lay down in the water We’re all sons and daughters Rest your head by the altar oh Come lay down in the water Come lay down           Rest your head         high E string    (2 0 2 4 2 0) (repeat until end) Come lay down
