Cette chanson évoque les pensées d’une personne qui, au cœur de la nuit, se remémore une relation tumultueuse. Malgré le désir de s'éloigner, elle réalise qu'elle est toujours attirée par cet amour qui lui cause des soucis. Elle parle de ses hésitations et de sa lutte intérieure, se sentant tiraillée entre son désir de liberté et l’attrait irrésistible de cette connexion. Elle sait qu'elle devrait se méfier, mais elle ne peut s'empêcher de retomber dans les bras de celui qu'elle aime, malgré les complications que cela entraîne. C'est une lutte émotionnelle où la passion l'emporte sur la raison.
