Cette chanson évoque les inquiétudes et les angoisses liées à l'insomnie. Le protagoniste se retrouve coincé dans un cycle de pensées qui l'empêchent de trouver le sommeil, réfléchissant aux complications de sa vie et aux situations qui l'angoissent. Les fantômes de ses préoccupations semblent l'assaillir, mais il reconnaît aussi que, malgré tout, tout ira finalement bien. La nuit devient un refuge d'incertitudes où les lumières des rues offrent une sorte de répit, même si la réalité reste pesante. En somme, c'est une réflexion sur la lutte intérieure face aux peurs et aux doutes qui surgissent lorsqu'on est seul avec soi-même.
