The choral parts were inspired by the Georgian song ’Tsintskaro’ that Kate had heard used in the soundtrack for Werner Herzog’s re-make of the vampire movie ’Nosferatu’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdjqDzaNVjc Richard Hickox was the arranger Kate used for ’Hello Earth’ and for the choral sections rather than use a real foreign language Richard suggested using vocalisations that just sounded like a language and Kate liked the idea.
