Dans cette chanson, un homme se trouve confronté à une jeune aristocrate lors d'une chasse. Alors qu'il traverse un champ, il assiste à la scène où la jeune femme ne parvient pas à franchir un obstacle. Il lui ouvre alors une porte, mais elle semble plus intéressée par la chasse que par lui. Ce personnage, décrit comme élégant et hautain, exerce une certaine fascination mais aussi une insécurité sur notre protagoniste, qui se sent dévalorisé par sa situation sociale. La chanson évoque ainsi une dynamique entre deux mondes : celui de la noblesse avec ses codes et ses passions, et celui des gens ordinaires, illustrant le malaise et l'admiration qu'éprouve l'homme face à la Hunting Girl, embodiment de la beauté et du raffinement, mais aussi de l'inaccessibilité.
