And because I just adore Jason Mraz of course! I’ve tried not to use any other instrument than my ears while transcribing this and that turned out to be brilliant training you should really try that! :) As most of the guitar on this record isn’t very complicated it can be notated as simple chords and that’s how I’ve done for all the songs. And of course I’ve also included the parts that are more suitable for tabs certain finger picking figures for example. But if there are any parts you think is missing in the tab or if you want any of the parts in Guitar Pro just ask ;)                                                               - 15th /August /08 And for question comments corrections - just mail me at !  1.  You and I Both              (Mraz)  2.  I’ll Do Anything            (Galewood Mraz)  3.  The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)  (Christy Edwards Mraz Spock)  4.  Who Needs Shelter           (Keup Mraz Schermerhorn)  5.  Curbside Prophet            (Galewood Mraz Ruffalo)  6.  Sleep All Day               (Mraz)  7.  Too Much Food               (Mraz)  8.  Absolutely Zero             (Mraz)  9.  On Love In Sadness         (Keene Mraz) 10.  No Stopping Us              (Mraz) 11.  The Boy’s Gone              (Mraz) 12.  Tonight Not Again          (Keene Mraz) *******************************************************************************  " Maitinin writing here - the author of this tab.    The past 11 years I have generated 10318000 views and 815 top-rated tabs for this site.    If you want to support an eager contributor like me check out my own site:    _____  http://www.PlayLikeTheGreats.com  _____    Here I will continue to upload and improve my transcriptions.    Best regards    Maitinin    July 2015 " ******************************************************************************** 1. _________________________________   / Jason Mraz                     /  / You and I Both                 / /________________________________/  Chords: e:---3-----2------0-----0----0----2-----------------0----: B:---3-----3------3-----1----1----3--------3--------3----: G:---0-----0------0-----0----0----2--------0--------0----: D:---0-----4------2-----2----2----0--------4--------4----: A:---2-----x------2-----0----3----x--------5--------2----: E:---3-----3------0---------------2-----------------0----:  Verse: | | | | | | | | | / |  Verse (break on 3 in the last bar)  Chorus 1: | | | | | | | | | / |  Interlude:       [break on 2] | | | | |  Verse (break on 2 in the last bar)  Chorus 2: | | | | | | | / | | | | | |                 [break on 2] | | | | / |  Chorus 3: | | | | | | | / | | | | | / | | | |  Bridge: | | (add11) |   / | | | C | D(add11) |                              [break on 3] | | | | | (add11) | (add11) |  Chorus 3 end on the last G  *The Acoustic Intro*: The best version of this song my opinion is the acoustic live-performance at Mix 106.5 04/04/08. Notice that the pattern for the E and the C#m7 is excactly the same as these are two very similar chords. You can also just play the picking pattern as strummed chords those would be the first 3 chords I’ve added in the chord chart.  The strummed chords are played in the chorus and bridge. Those are the next 4 chords in the chord chart.  Capo on 2nd fret  Picking Pattern: |----2---0-------------0---|----------------------------| |-------------3----0h3---0-|----0-----------0-----------| |--------------------------|----2---0---0h2---2p0-----0-| |-4----4----4----4---------|----0-----------------0-----| |--------------------------|-3----3----3------------3---| |--------------------------|----------------------------|  Chords: e:---2-----------2---- ---2-----0-----0-----0----: B:---3-----0-----3---- ---0-----0-----1-----0----: G:---2-----2-----2---- ---2-----1-----2-----0----: D:---4-----0-----4---- ---0-----2-----2-----2----: A:--(5)----3----(2)--- ---2-----2-----0-----2----: E:-------------------- ---------0-----------0----:  Intro/Interlude: | | | | |  Verse: | | | | | | | |  Chorus: | | | | | | | | | |  Interlude  Verse: | | | | | | | | | |  Chorus  Bridge: | | | | | | | | | |  Guitar Solo (Interlude): |-----------------------------|----------------------------| |-----------------------10-12-|-10p9-----------------------| |---------------------9-------|------11-11~~~-------9-11---| |---------7s9----9s11---------|------------------11------9s| |-----------------------------|----------------------------| |-----------------------------|----------------------------| |-----------------------------|----------------------------|------- |-----------------------------|----------------------------|------- |----9------------------------|----------------------------|------- |s11---11--11~~~----9--7-6----|----6-----------------------|------- |--------------------------9--|-9----9~~~-----7--5--4-2-0--|------- |-----------------------------|----------------------------|-(4)---  Outro-Verse: | | | | ... ******************************************************************************** 5. _________________________________   / Jason Mraz                     /  / Curbside Prophet               / /________________________________/ All the way through the song is just the same round of two bars of played over and over again. So instead of indicating chords I’ve just indicated how many rounds long each part is pretty simple :) The Picking Pattern: Okay this is such a cool riff! It’s kinda tricky though - especially if you’re to sing/rap at the same time! The tricky thing is the slaps on the beats 2 and 4 (except for the second 4). The easiest way of learning the whole thing would be to learn it without the slaps in first place. Simply start with the finger picking and then try to add the slaps afterward. Notice how important the slaps are! How Jason slaps is slapping only the low e- and a-string (as noted in the tab) with the thumb. By only slapping and dampening those two strings you can let the other strings ring across the slap but it really takes some motor function. I find the second slap hardest as you are to do the slide simultaneously but when it’s nailed it sounds so groovey! I typed the riff into GP5 so just mail me and ask for it if you want it.   1   +   2   +   3   +   4   +     1   +   2   +   3   +   4   + |---------------------------------|---------------------------------| |-----------------------8\--------|---------------------------------| |-------4---------------7\--------|-------2---------------0-------0-| |-------5-----------------------0-|-------2-------------0-------0---| |---------x---0-----------x---0---|---------x---0-----5-------5-----| |-3---3---x-------8---8---x-------|-1---1---x-1-----6-------5-------|  Intro:       2+2+2 rounds only guitar and banjo in the first 2 rounds               then Jason’s vocal comes in and finally the bands plays in.  Verse 1:     4  Chorus:      2  Interlude:   2  Verse 2:     4+4  Chorus:      4  Verse 3:     4 break on the second bar all four times  Verse 4:     4  Chorus:      2 then fade out over 3 rounds ******************************************************************************** 6. _________________________________   / Jason Mraz                     /  / Sleep All Day                  / /________________________________/ Ooh this is just a lovely simple song! Notice that Jason plays with a capo on the 1st fret live. It’s actually not for any use chord-wise - it’s simply just sounds less horrible if you accidentally strike open strings with the capo on :) e:---3-------8---4--11--11-- --8----7----6-------4---- ---6-----8-----7--------: B:---4-------9---4---9---9-- --8----7----6-------7---- ---7-----9-----8----8---: G:---5------10---5---8--10-- --8----7----6-------4---- ---8----10-----9----8---: D:---5------10---6---8--10-- --8----7----6-------6---- ---8----10-----9----8---: A:---x-------x---4---x---x-- --x----x----x-------4---- ---x-----x-----x----6---: E:---4-------9-------9---9-- --8----7----6------------ ---7-----9-----8--------:  Intro (verse): | | | | |                             [break] | | | | |  Verse  Chorus: |    | |    | | |    | | Db11sus | Db11sus |  Interlude (verse)  Verse  Chorus  Interlude (verse)  Bridge:                          [break timing:]                                    3      3&+&  4+ | | | |    | | | | | |  Keyboard Solo (verse)  Chorus  Outro (verse) end on Dbmaj9 ******************************************************************************** 11._________________________________   / Jason Mraz                     /  / The Boy’s Gone                 / /________________________________/  Chords:           7sus4         #/             :------------------------------- -------------------------------: G:---4----4----4-------6-----5--- ---6----5----4----3----6---7---: A:---4----2----6-------6-----6--- ---4----3----2----4----7---7---: E:-------------0-------4-----4--- ------------------2----5-------:  Main picking pattern: |-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------| |-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------| |-----4-----4-----|-----4-------4---|-----4-----------|-----6-----5-----| |-----2-----2-----|-----4-------4---|-----------6-----|-----4-----6-----| |-4-----4-----4---|-2-----2-2-----2-|-----6-----6-----|-----------------| |-----------------|-----------------|-0-----0-----0---|/4-------4-------|  Intro: ||: | | | 7sus4 :|| 3x | | | | |  Verse: | | | | 7sus4 | | | | | 7sus4 | |  Chorus: | | #/ | | | | A | G#7sus4 G# | | | | | 7sus4 | |  Verse  Chorus: | | #/ | | | | A | G#7sus4 G# | | | | | 7sus4 | | | #/ | | | | | | 7sus4 | |  Bridge: ||: | | | 7sus4 :|| 3x  | | | | 7sus4 | |  Chorus: ||: | #/ | | | | A | G#7sus4 G# | | | | | 7sus4 :||  Outro: ||: | | | 7sus4 :|| 3x (start fading after third round) ******************************************************************************** 12._________________________________   / Jason Mraz                     /  / Tonight Not Again             / /________________________________/ In this song there are just 5 five chords. Cette chanson évoque le voyage intérieur d'une personne qui attend avec impatience un changement significatif dans sa vie. Elle parle de l'espoir et de l'anticipation face à un futur meilleur, une sorte de quête d'émotions fortes et d'opportunités inattendues. À travers des images métaphoriques, l'artiste exprime cette attente, illustrant un désir de libération et de découverte de nouvelles perspectives. Le contexte semble refléter les réflexions personnelles d'une période de maturation, où l'on aspire à un moment décisif qui transformera le quotidien. Les paroles traduisent également un optimisme fougueux, malgré l'incertitude, ce qui peut résonner particulièrement chez ceux qui sont en recherche de sens ou de renouveau dans leur existence.
