La chanson aborde les thèmes de l'incertitude et de la douleur dans une relation. Elle évoque le sentiment de solitude et la prise de conscience que l'on ne peut pas toujours accepter des comportements qui nous blessent. L'artiste exprime son désir de ne pas vivre dans la peur et de ne pas retourner à des schémas destructeurs.
