Duran Duran - What Are the Chances? (2015) Tabbed by: trevgreg Email: Tuning: Standard Here is the seventh track off of the band’s 2015 release Paper Gods as well what some fans might call the sentimental highlight from the album. Turns out that its chorus might actually use the same chords to the intro/chorus of their 1993 hit Ordinary World as well! For the most part the whole song appears to follow the chords below. Pre-Chorus Chords: D-E       Chorus Chords: ---- I’m not sure if that’s because they actually use it or if it just sounds a bit better. The band also skips over the F#m chord in the final line of the first chorus before heading straight to D. [Verse 1] Any other day and you might’ve gone walking by without a second look Any other way but I’m still mystified. I’m just trying to change my luck Staring out the world and waiting for the one. But the world won’t look away The world does not explain [Chorus 1] So what are the chances?       We’ll never know if we take it for granted        A diamond explodes. What are the chances? [Verse 2] Playing with your life or is it destiny which sets you on a path? Is it out of choice that you’re here next to me or just the aftermath Of moments as they pass? [Chorus 2] So what are the chances?       We’ll never know if we take it for granted       A diamond explodes. What are the chances? We are lost in the flow and looking for answers oh... [Middle 8]                           Oh oh oh oh... oh oh oh… oh oh oh     Oh oh oh oh... oh oh oh… oh oh oh     [Chorus 3] So what are the chances?       We’ll never know if we take it for granted       A diamond explodes. What are the chances? We are lost in the flow and looking for answers oh...
