La chanson évoque la lutte d'une personne qui essaie de faire face à une rupture amoureuse. Après avoir été abandonnée, elle se force à croire qu'elle va bien en se mentant à elle-même, décrivant un monde où tout est à l'envers, comme si la réalité était déformée.
