La chanson raconte l’histoire d’une personne qui découvre que sa crèche de Noël a été volée, y compris la figure de Jésus. Il se sent perdu sans cette représentation sacrée qui est centrale à son esprit de Noël. En cherchant à retrouver son Jésus perdu, il exprime à la fois sa désolation et son espoir. Finalement, il découvre que son voisin a pris la statue pour lui apporter un peu d'amour, ainsi, il lui rend et reconnaît que la véritable essence de Noël réside dans la solidarité et l'entraide entre voisins. Le contexte met en lumière l’importance de la spiritualité et des relations humaines durant la période des fêtes.
