Cette chanson évoque la lutte intérieure d'une personne qui semble perdue et souffrante. Elle interroge l'absence de joie dans sa vie et l'incite à se libérer de ses angoisses et de ses cachotteries. À travers des images de désespoir et d'appel à la vie, le narrateur rappelle qu'il y a encore sur cette terre des choses à aimer et à découvrir, comme le simple fait de profiter des petites choses. En fin de compte, il encourage son ami à ne pas abandonner et à se reconnecter avec lui-même et les autres. C'est un véritable cri du cœur, un souhait de retrouver la lumière au milieu de l'obscurité.
