Cette chanson raconte l'histoire d'Annie, une jeune femme qui consomme des amphétamines. Bien qu'elle pense que ces pilules lui permettent de se sentir bien et de s'envoler, la réalité est bien différente. Son état de santé se détériore rapidement, avec des signes inquiétants de dépendance et de délires. Les avertissements d'un ami sur les dangers de ces drogues passent inaperçus, et malgré les conséquences tragiques qu'elle encaisse, elle continue sur cette voie. La chanson aborde donc les dangers des drogues et invite à réfléchir sur leurs effets dévastateurs.
