The Devils Right Hand
Bob Seger
Ce chant est à 4 accords magiques! Il est montré ici dans la transposition originale: en le jouant avec des capo ou en le transposant, vous pouvez le ramener à Am, F, C, G.
Even though this song has many different covers Bob Seger really did a good job on this one. It doesn’t have the strict country feel. This one has a classic rock/road tune kind of feel. I think the organ/keyboard in the back adds Seger’s signature to this song. Standard Tuning - No Capo Song: ’Bout the time my daddy left to fight the big war Saw my first pistol in a general store In a general store when I was thirteen Thought it was the finest thing I ever had seen So I asked if I could have one someday when I grew up Mama dropped a dozen eggs she really blew up She really blew up she didn’t understand Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand Chorus: The devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand. My very first pistol was a cap and ball colt. Shoot as fast as lightnin’ but it loads a might slow. Loads a might slow. And soon I found out it’ll Get you into troublebut it can’t get you out. Bought a year later bought got a colt 45. Called a peace maker but I never knew why. I never knew why I didn’t understand. Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand. The devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand *Interlude* Got into a card game in a crumbling town Caught a miner cheating so I shot the dog down Shot the dog down watched the man fall Never touched his holster never had a chance to draw The trial was in the morning and they drug me out of bed Asked me how I pleaded not guilty I said Not guilty I said you’ve got the wrong man Nothing touched the pistol but the devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand Nothing touched the trigger but the devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand The devil’s right hand Mama said the pistol was the devil’s right hand
