Il a commis des actes violents, notamment envers sa propre famille, et sa réputation de criminel grandissant le rend presque mythique. Au fil des vers, on découvre qu'il a également pillé un train et qu'il traîne avec des policiers à ses trousses, cherchant à le capturer. Le personnage central, bien que considéré comme un homme dangereux, semble vivre une vie désordonnée, mêlée de jeux d'argent et de violence.
