La chanson évoque la solitude et les regrets de personnes qui se croisent dans la vie sans jamais vraiment se connaître. Un homme, qui se considère comme un rockeur, se retrouve seul à danser, perdu dans ses pensées et sans direction. On y parle aussi d'une femme qui, autrefois pleine de vie, semble avoir perdu cette étincelle et se demande où aller. D'autres personnages, chacun avec leurs propres luttes, expriment le désir de comprendre leur passé et de rencontrer les gens avant que le temps ne s'écoule en leur défaveur. Au final, il est question de rencontres manquées et de cœurs brisés, avec l'espoir d'une issue heureuse, un thème universel qui résonne profondément dans nos vies.
